PPSC PROGRAM DIRECTOR.
Hey, friends! My name is Mercy, and I am excited to meet with you for the PPSC program. I believe that everyone has leadership abilities, and it is essential to tap into these skills. As the world transforms, there is a dire need for strong leaders who will make a significant impact on nations. I believe that you are one of those whom God has called to be a world changer. In this program, you will learn strategies and skills to become such a leader. You will also discover more about the gifts that God has placed within you.
Our program is designed to cultivate the leadership potentials of young individuals by equipping them with key leadership skills and deepening their spiritual practices. This initiative will enable them to excel in their PPSC roles and extend these skills into broader leadership opportunities.
The program kicks off with foundational leadership concepts, where young leaders explore leadership roles through the lens of faith, discussing notable biblical leadership figures and essential leadership qualities tailored to resonate with teenagers. Participants will engage in interactive workshops that include prayer writing and practical exercises to emphasize the significance of prayer in leadership.
Further, the program delves into deeper spiritual practices like intercessory prayer and understanding the role of prophecy in leadership, providing participants with tools to enhance their spiritual life and leadership effectiveness. Sessions on team dynamics, public speaking, and community service project planning are incorporated to foster practical leadership skills.
To complement these skills, the program specializes on ethical leadership and personal character development, aligning with the fruits of the Spirit and ethical dilemmas leaders might face. The program's final day features career workshops that help participants explore how their spiritual gifts can influence their career paths, highlighted by discussions on mentorship and professional networking.
The culmination of the program is a celebratory commissioning service, where participants are recognized for their dedication and preparedness for leadership roles during VBS and in their future endeavors.
